This campaign was done for the Dancescape show that gets put on every year at Winona State University. The client needed promotional posters as well as brochures and a set backdrop. This years theme was the power that art of dance gave to the person dancing, letting them break free from any worries of life. This project was done independently.
This is the final poster. It has a calm and inviting gradient background that pulls the viewer in. The graphic in the middle features a woman dancing and seemingly breaking away from the letters, showing the escape the dancers said they felt when dancing.
The only other collateral the client requested was a brochure layout for the event and a backdrop for projection during the times when no dancing was happening.
